Preview: Shea Raiders vs. Mt. Pleasant Kilties
Shea is 6-0 against Mt. Pleasant since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Shea Raiders will be home for the holidays to greet the Mt. Pleasant Kilties at 6:30 p.m. Mt. Pleasant took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Shea, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Shea got the win against Cranston East by a conclusive 54-28. That 54-28 margin sets a new team best for Shea this season.
Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant had to suffer through a rough 53-26 loss at the hands of Prout. Mt. Pleasant has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Shea's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Shea strolled past Mt. Pleasant when the teams last played back in December of 2019 by a score of 56-40. Does Shea have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mt. Pleasant turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
