After losing to Elcho the last time they met, Tigerton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers skirted past the Hornets 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Tigerton can attribute much of their success to Aaliyah Lederhaus, who had 13 digs and five kills. Another player making a difference was Presley Stewart-Rolfs, who had nine kills and five digs.

Tigerton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Elcho, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Tigerton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Faith Christian Academy on the 28th. After both having extra time off, Elcho and Wabeno/Laona will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Hornets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
