Baseball Recap: Carlsbad Lancers vs. Rancho Bernardo Broncos
Carlsbad was the 5-2 winner over Rancho Bernardo when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers came up short against the Broncos on Friday, falling 13-4.
Carlsbad saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Ward, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Ward hit this season. Liam Stigers was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Carlsbad's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Rancho Bernardo, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
