The Wellington Wolverines will challenge the West Boca Raton Bulls at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Wellington got their first taste of in-conference action  on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Royal Palm Beach by a score of  7-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wolverines.
 Greysn Bogdanchik looked comfortable as he  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Lucas Bratten was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in March.
 Wellington was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Royal Palm Beach only posted a  batting average of  .154.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for West Boca Raton, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They blew past Forest Hill 9-2 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulls, who have now won six games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Tayegan Briskey, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. He has become a key player for West Boca Raton: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  three  RBI, but 5-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Derek Godfrey, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 West Boca Raton's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Wellington, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
 Wellington might still be hurting after the  8-0 loss they got from West Boca Raton  when the teams last played  back in February of 2024.
