While Westbury's win against Sterling wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Raiders on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won four in a row.

Westbury was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-98), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 10-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Westbury's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Sterling, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westbury is set to challenge their familiar foe Galena Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sterling will square off against rival Milby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
