Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln managed to slip by Lewis Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lynx lost 3-0 to the Titans on Friday. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Lewis Central are ranked 27th).

Lincoln's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Lewis Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Sioux City North on the 13th. Lewis Central has also already played their next contest (against Harlan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
