Soccer Game Preview: Lake Dallas vs. Palestine

The Lake Dallas Falcons will take on the Palestine Wildcats in a tournament on Thursday. Lake Dallas' last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lake Dallas' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Birdville out 1-0.

Meanwhile, Palestine had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Pirates 5-1. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by four goals or more this season.

They hit Pittsburg with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rolando Gallegos (2), Ismael Gonzales (2), and Mario Escalante.

Lake Dallas has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Palestine, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
