Basketball Recap: IMG Academy White Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the IMG Academy White Ascenders came up short against the Divine Savior Academy Sharks and fell 56-46.

Divine Savior Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was David Watson out in front who went 7 for 13 on his way to 21 points and eight rebounds. The match was Watson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Joost West was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds.

IMG Academy White's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Divine Savior Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

IMG Academy White and 212 Sports Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Divine Savior Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 95-64 victory against Immaculata-La Salle on the 13th.
