Football Game Preview: Springfield Millers vs. North Eugene Highlanders

The Springfield Millers will venture away from home to face off against the North Eugene Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Springfield is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Springfield lost to Churchill at home by a 30-12 margin.

Although Springfield took the loss, they still got scores from Amar'E Viquelia and Adam Hernandez.

Meanwhile, North Eugene earned a 21-13 win over Eagle Point on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

North Eugene's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Springfield couldn't quite get it done against North Eugene in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 27-20. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Highlanders' D'Mariyae Ireland, who rushed for 176 yards and one score while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.
