It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Penn Kingsmen can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 34-33 to Crown Point. Penn's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
Penn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Crown Point, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.
Penn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crown Point will be playing in front of their home fans against Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Westfield is ranked fifth, while Crown Point is ranked ninth).
