Baseball Recap: Newark Catholic Comes Up Short

Newark Catholic fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Watkins Memorial on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-5. The loss continues a trend for the Green Wave in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Newark Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Watkins Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.
