Volleyball Recap: Franklin County Comes Up Short

If Franklin County was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Shelby County last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flyers lost 3-0 to the Western Hills Wolverines on Tuesday. The Flyers haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-15.

Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Western Hills, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin County will face off against East Jessamine at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Hills, they will take on Bryan Station at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
