It's playoff time, and South Beauregard had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Loreauville Tigers a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Knights have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Beauregard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Loreauville, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: South Beauregard beat the Tigers by a score of 7-0 later that day.
