Volleyball Recap: Aidan Fontaine and Nicholas Baker Secure Win for Winter Park

Winter Park had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Timber Creek Wolves 3-0 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leading Winter Park to victory were Nicholas Baker and Aidan Fontaine. Baker had nine digs and three assists, while Fontaine hit 78.3% for 19 kills and five digs. Those 78.3% hitting percentage gave Fontaine a new career-high.

They weren't the only ones working in the hitting percentage department: Winter Park couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 43.5% of their attack attempts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hitting percentage total in three consecutive contests.

Winter Park's record now sits at 17-5. As for Timber Creek, they moved to 25-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
