Basketball Recap: South Gate Takes a Loss

South Gate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the La Sierra Eagles, falling 50-28. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

South Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for La Sierra, they moved to 2-11 with that win, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Gate will face off against Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for La Sierra, they will host Ramona at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
