Basketball Recap: Hope Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against The Oaks School on Monday, Hope Christian Academy came back down to earth. Hope Christian Academy was beaten by the Tabernacle Torches 42-13 on Friday.

Macie Howard was the offensive standout of the matchup as she posted 16 points. Those 16 points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brinley Howard, who put up seven points.

Hope Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tabernacle, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Hope Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 50-25 defeat against Mt. Pleasant Christian on the 14th. As for Tabernacle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-16 win against Master's Hand Christian on the 15th.
