Soccer Recap: Rosewood Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rosewood can now relate to. They lost 4-1 to East Bladen on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Rosewood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 524th, while East Bladen is ranked 247th).

Rosewood has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's still a better percentage than their 1-13-1 record this season. As for East Bladen, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1-2.

Rosewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Bladen has already played their next contest (against Southern Wake Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
