Wally Flores Game Report: vs Somerset

Passers beware: Wally Flores came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), but sadly Uvalde still had to take a 43-22 loss at the hands of Somerset. We hope Flores' good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Flores and Uvalde will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Canyon Lake at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 569 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
