Fort Meade posted their biggest victory since November 21, 2024 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Lake Placid Dragons with a sharp 48-22 win. The squad ran away with 36 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

Despite the defeat, Lake Placid saw an underclassman step up: freshman Arianna Perez posted 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perez has scored all season.

Fort Meade's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Lake Placid, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Fort Meade has already played their next match (against Ridge Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake Placid wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 loss against Sebring on the 24th.
