Basketball Game Preview: Keio Academy of N.Y. Unicorns vs. Hamilton Raiders

Keio Academy of N.Y. is 1-8 against Hamilton since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Keio Academy of N.Y. Unicorns will venture away from home to square off against the Hamilton Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Keio Academy of N.Y. is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 50-18 defeat at the hands of Haldane.

Meanwhile, Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 49-36 to Yonkers Montessori Academy. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 564th, while the Eagles are ranked 126th).

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Keio Academy of N.Y., their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Keio Academy of N.Y. was dealt a bruising 58-29 defeat at the hands of Hamilton when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Keio Academy of N.Y. avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
