Veterans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Mary Persons Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August.

Veterans' defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Mary Persons, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Veterans will challenge Peach County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both have allowed few runs on average, (Peach County: 3.5, Veterans: 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Mary Persons does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
