Volleyball Recap: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Clinton Prairie Gophers

Delphi Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton Prairie Gophers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gophers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Tuesday.

Alissa Miller paced Delphi Community's offense, picking up five kills. Miller got some help from Abby Brown and her four assists. Aly Stier controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Delphi Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-26. As for Clinton Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-18 record this season.

Delphi Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Carroll on the 11th. As for Clinton Prairie, they will challenge Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
