Softball Game Preview: Silverado Skyhawks vs. Arbor View Aggies

Silverado is 0-5 against Arbor View since March of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Skyhawks will face off against the Aggies at 3:30 p.m. Silverado has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Green Valley hit Silverado with a seven-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Skyhawks came up short against the Gators, falling 13-1. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Skyhawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bakersfield Christian hit Arbor View with a four-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Aggies lost 8-1 to the Eagles. The Aggies' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Arbor View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madilyn Lowy, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Arbor View's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Silverado, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Silverado suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Arbor View in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Can the Skyhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
