            Volleyball Recap: Rhea County Golden Eagles vs. Ooltewah Owls        
        
		
        
        
            While Rhea County's  victory against Ooltewah wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Eagles skirted past the Owls  3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  two weeks ago.
 Rhea County was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-13, 22-25, 26-28, 25-23,  16-14.

Leading Rhea County to victory were  Kamryn Swafford and  Kindale Rumer.  Swafford  had 27  digs and three  aces, while  Rumer  had 14  digs and 13  assists. Those  14  digs gave  Rumer a new career-high.
 They weren't the only good server: Rhea County  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Rhea County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. As for Ooltewah,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-10.
 Rhea County has  already played their next  contest (against Bradley Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ooltewah, they will square off against CSTHEA at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
