Volleyball Game Preview: Lourdes Academy vs. St. Brendan Sabres

Lourdes Academy won the last time they faced Monsignor Pace and Lily Garcia did her part to make sure it happened again. Lourdes Academy walked away with a 3-1 win over Monsignor Pace on Thursday thanks in part to Garcia, who had 26 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.4 digs per game.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 17-25, 25-18, 25-13.

St. Brendan not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Mater Brickell Academy.

St. Brendan not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mater Brickell Academy between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

Lourdes Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for St. Brendan, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
