Football Game Preview: Henninger Black Knights vs. Watertown Cyclones

The Henninger Black Knights will head out to challenge the Watertown Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Henninger is looking for their season's first victory.

On Saturday, Henninger lost to Corcoran at home by a 28-12 margin. While losing is never fun, the Black Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 418th, while the Cougars are ranked 179th).

Meanwhile, Watertown came up short against Auburn on Friday, falling 46-22. The Cyclones have struggled against the Maroons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Henninger, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Henninger's way against Watertown in their previous matchup back in October of 2017, as Henninger made off with a 36-14 win. In that matchup, the Black Knights amassed a halftime lead of 30-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
