Baseball Recap: Prattville Christian Academy Find Success

Prattville Christian Academy won the last time they faced Saint James and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 6-2.

Blake Bowman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ethan Walls, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Conner Williams, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Prattville Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Saint James, they moved to 17-7-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
