            The Chaminade Eagles will take on the Calabasas Coyotes in a tournament  on Friday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Chaminade saw some tournament action  on Wednesday. They came out on top against Ventura by a score of  4-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Eagles.
 Adam Batmanian looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Isaiah Hearn, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  stolen bases.
 Meanwhile, Calabasas won against Santa Paula  on Monday with ten  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Wednesday. Calabasas walked away with  a   10-5  win over Valencia.
 Chaminade pushed their record up to 2-0 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Calabasas, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Chaminade came out on top in a nail-biter against Calabasas in their previous matchup  back in April of 2022, sneaking past  3-2. Does  Chaminade have another victory up their sleeve, or will Calabasas turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
