Taylor and Madeira are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Yellowjackets will head out on the road to face off against the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Taylor comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Tuesday, Taylor didn't have quite enough to beat Mariemont and fell 6-5.

Meanwhile, Madeira unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Summit Country Day by a score of 4-3.

Madeira saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Beck, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Madeira, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Taylor suffered a grim 10-1 defeat to Madeira when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
