Soccer Game Preview: Big Spring vs. Pecos

The Big Spring Steers will face off against the Pecos Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Big Spring will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Big Spring is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Sweetwater an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Sebastian Torres was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pecos, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Andrews 2-1.

The victory got Big Spring back to even at 7-7. As for Pecos, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Big Spring beat Pecos by a goal in their previous meeting back in January, winning 2-1. Will the Steers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
