Volleyball Recap: Somerset Academy Central Miramar Comes Up Short

Somerset Academy Central Miramar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerset Academy Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 17-25, 25-10.

Somerset Academy was led to victory by Jorge Molina and Joshua George. Molina had 30 assists, while George hit 96% for 24 kills and four aces and two blocks. Those 24 kills gave George a new career-high.

Somerset Academy Central Miramar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Somerset Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Somerset Academy Central Miramar nor Somerset Academy have any future games scheduled.
