Baseball Game Preview: Bruton Panthers vs. Grafton Clippers

Bruton is 1-9 against Grafton since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Panthers will head out to square off against the Clippers at 4:30 p.m. Bruton has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bruton fell victim to New Kent and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, Grafton didn't have quite enough to beat Jamestown on Wednesday and fell 5-3.

Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Bruton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Bruton might still be hurting after the 12-0 defeat they got from Grafton when the teams last played back in April. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
