Basketball Recap: Franklin County Takes a Loss

Franklin County suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the South Pike Eagles, falling 46-26. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for South Pike, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Franklin County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-38 win against Jefferson County on the 31st. South Pike has also already played their next contest, a 49-21 victory against Port Gibson on the 31st.
