Baseball Recap: Molina Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Molina can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Mesquite Stallions by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Molina and nudges their season record down to 13-15. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for North Mesquite, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Molina nor North Mesquite have any future games scheduled.
