Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Clinton Cougars vs. Northern Adirondack Bobcats

Northeastern Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Northeastern Clinton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

Northern Adirondack was led to victory by Braelyn Bilow and Allison LaPoint. Bilow had eight aces, seven kills, and six digs, while LaPoint had nine digs, five aces, and three blocks. That's the most kills Bilow has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendel Chapple, who had ten kills and six digs.

Northeastern Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Northern Adirondack, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.

Northeastern Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northern Adirondack, they will square off against Saranac at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
