Baseball Recap: Ben Lomond Comes Up Short

Ben Lomond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-4 to the South Summit Wildcats. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Ben Lomond saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kai Langston, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Solomon Villegas also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Ben Lomond's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for South Summit, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.
