Baseball Recap: Fike Drops Highest Score of Season Against Southern Wayne

Fike scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Southern Wayne Saints by a score of 11-10. The loss continues a trend for the Demons in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost five in a row.

Daniel Holloman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Holloman wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Fike kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Fike's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Southern Wayne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.
