League recap: Kirtland extends winning streak with victory over Fort Frye

Kirtland extended the longest winning streak in Chagrin Valley - Valley this week by beating Fort Frye, 49-7. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Hornets.

Kirtland took down the Cadets 49-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Kirtland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Scott Eilerman has thrown for 837 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Damon Washington has 14 catches for 293 yards. Washington leads the league in rushing with 1385 yards.

Tiger (Phillip) Laverde's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Fort Frye.
