A Season-Best Performance from Ben Hays Leads Bentworth over Mapletown

Ben Hays produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bentworth to the win on Friday. Hays rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.

Bentworth now has a winning record of 5-4. Hays and Bentworth will take on Avella at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lee Qualk Delivers Electric Performance Vs Bethlehem Center

Lee Qualk put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 261 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Bethlehem Center had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Qualk it was a similar story. When Qualk last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.

On Friday, Jefferson-Morgan got the W thanks in part to Johnny Gilbert playing the best football he has all season. Gilbert rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.

The win for Jefferson-Morgan keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Gilbert and Jefferson-Morgan will head out on the road to face off against California at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
