It was a good run, but Snyder unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Levelland Lobos by a score of 6-5. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lobos earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Snyder's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 15-7. As for Levelland, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 25-3-1 record this season.

Snyder will take on Roby at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Levelland, they will face off against Lake View at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
