Softball Recap: McCamey Comes Up Short

McCamey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 19-4 to the Wink Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Friday.

McCamey's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Wink, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Coming up, McCamey will face off against Van Horn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.27 runs per game on average), something the Badgers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wink, they will take on Forsan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffaloes will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
