Recap: Riverdale Academy Rebels vs. Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Riverdale Academy Rebels had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 71-51 margin over the Rams. Riverdale Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.
Wilkinson County Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of JACK ORGERON, who scored 24 points, and EASTON BUTEAUX who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points ORGERON has scored all season.
The win makes it two in a row for Riverdale Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-11. As for Wilkinson County Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
Riverdale Academy will face off against Claiborne Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Wilkinson County Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
