Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeastern). Everything went their way against the William Penn Bearcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won six in a row.

Conner Rippo was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. He is becoming a predictor of Northeastern's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 5-6 when he doesn't). Christain Dubbs also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Northeastern always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for William Penn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
