Olympian suffered their closest loss since December 7, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the San Diego Cavers by a score of 67-64. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Olympian still got an impressive performance from Sammell Humphries, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Humphries has posted since back in November of 2024. Tristan Anderson was another key player, going 7 for 9 en route to 15 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

San Diego got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Marte out in front who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points and eight boards. Marte's afternoon made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyshawn Degrate, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine assists.

Olympian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3. As for San Diego, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

Olympian is taking a road trip to take on Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Montgomery is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.6 points per game this season. San Diego has already played their next contest, a 63-47 victory against Lincoln on the 4th.
