Basketball Recap: Rossford Comes Up Short

Rossford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Lake Flyers and fell 78-34. The Bulldogs lost against the Flyers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 90-73 score last time.

Rossford's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Lake, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rossford has already played their next matchup (against Toledo Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake will be playing at home against Eastwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Lake likes a good challenge.
