Baseball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Starts Season with Win at Home

Santa Fe Christian took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Valhalla Norsemen 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kyle Plasman was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, one run, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in doubles. Another player making a difference was Elijah Joseph, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Santa Fe Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-4 loss against El Capitan on the 5th. As for Valhalla, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-6 win against San Diego on the 5th.
