Stivers School for the Arts extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-7 in the process. They came up short against the Meadowdale Lions, falling 19-6. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Tigers' highest-scoring match to date.

As for Meadowdale, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-7 record. Considering they have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Meadowdale's part, the team relied heavily on Kingston Tyler, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Tyler has become a key player for the Lions: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Thurston Melson III, who went 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stivers School for the Arts will venture away from home to face off against Belmont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bison have averaged an impressive 13.5 runs per game this season. As for Meadowdale, they will head out on the road to take on Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
