Aaron Dunn has decided he wants to play college football just down the road and he has become the youngest football recruit to ever commit to Washington State.

Dunn is a 6-foot-6, 220-pound tight end and defensive end. He earned honorable mention honors on the All-Greater Spokane League team last year as a sophomore (he was a first team selection in basketball) at Spokane’s Shadle Park High School.

Dunn was named MVP at WSU’s summer camp, earning an offer from coach Paul Wulff.

The Spokesman-Review is reporting that the junior-to-be has moved and will be playing at Mead High next year.

Football: Seattle Team Wins 7-on-7 Tourney

Skyline quarterback Jake Heaps was named MVP as a Seattle team on a national 7-on-7 tournament in Metairie, La.

The team, representing the Seattle Seahawks, was 11-0 and beat a team representing the Jets in the final, 37-10.

"We showed everybody that we play good football in Washington," coach Chad Barrett told the Seattle Times.

Barrett coached along with Mat Taylor, who also coaches at Skyline, which won the Class 3A state title last fall. Heaps was one of five Skyline players on the roster.
