Volleyball Recap: Crossroads Christian Takes a Loss

If Crossroads Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of New Garden Friends last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Colts came up short against the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors on Monday, falling 3-0. The Colts were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chancellors from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-15.

Anderson Boyd paced Crossroads Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Boyd got some help from Rosie May and her eight assists.

Crossroads Christian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for St. Thomas More Academy, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

Looking ahead, Crossroads Christian will venture away from home to take on Trinity Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colts are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Thomas More Academy, they will be playing at home against Thales Academy Rolesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
