Chippewa Falls barely beat Marshfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 15-4 win on Saturday. Considering the Cardinals have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Chippewa Falls' fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Marshfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Chippewa Falls will host Eau Claire North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshfield, they will challenge D.C. Everest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
